The OneMira C1 AI Voice Recorder for Meetings – Local Transcription, No Subscription, Notes for ChatGPT & Claude transfers encrypted audio slices to one paired computer at a time over the documented local connection. OneMira transcription runs on that computer; internet may still be needed for setup, model downloads, or third-party AI services.
*Note: Similar to Bluetooth headphones, C1 connects to only one computer at a time. A second computer will connect automatically once the first computer is disconnected or out of range.*

High-Speed Transfer. Simply plug C1 into your computer using the USB-C cable. This is the fastest way to sync long recording sessions in just a few seconds.
Wireless Bluetooth Sync
Convenient Wireless Sync. When C1 is near your computer, it automatically transfers your short recordings and notes in the background wirelessly so you can keep working.
- Cable First: When you plug in the USB-C cable, C1 immediately switches to the faster cable connection to save battery and sync files faster.
- Safety Protection: A brief safety delay prevents file errors if the cable is plugged in and out quickly by accident.
- Pick Up Where You Left Off: If you unplug the cable while syncing, C1 instantly switches to Bluetooth and continues transferring files from where it left off, without starting over.
- Smart Wireless Adjust: If you move away from your computer, C1 automatically adjusts its wireless transmission rate to ensure your notes transfer safely without drops.
How does C1 protect my notes?
To keep your notes accurate and up to date, the OneMira app includes built-in safeguards that prevent file confusion, even if you sync C1 with more than one computer.
- Secure Ownership: The app verifies your C1's unique identity before every transfer, ensuring your recordings are only sent to your authorized computers.
- Smart Updates: The app compares files on your device and computer to ensure only the latest additions and changes are synced, avoiding duplicates.
- Conflict handling: C1 carries encrypted text snapshots between computers; edits happen on the computers. If both sides changed the same logical file, the receiving app asks whether to keep its local version or the snapshot carried by C1. Non-conflicting files continue syncing.
- Power-Loss Protection: If your computer loses power or the device disconnects during synchronization, your data will not be corrupted. The app safely restores the last known good state.
- Storage housekeeping: C1 removes eligible temporary files and old logs according to its retention rules. If free space reaches the protected threshold, it stops accepting new capture data and reports the condition instead of claiming space is always available.
